DAISY GIRL EXHIBIT SERIES E: EUE Pay Slip / Screen Gems Tax Document

CONELRAD obtained the following pieces of evidence from the Corzilius family. The Elliot Unger & Elliot (a division of Screen Gems) payslip is undated, but the amount corresponds exactly to the 1964 Screen Gems tax document below it. Per Monique Corzilius’s parents, Fred and Colette, Monique’s first television commercial was the Daisy ad shot in 1964. The name of the production company that produced the commercial—Elliot Unger & Elliot—has never been in dispute. Fred and Colette believe that this was their daughter’s only television work for the year and that the amount is approximately the same that they recall her being paid.[1] Therefore, the payment records below are almost certainly for her work on the Daisy ad.

[1] In-person interview with Fred Corzilius on September 12, 2009 and e-mail interview with Colette Brunner on September 16, 2009. The amount that Colette recalls Monique being paid is $100.00 which is very close to the amount on the Mary Ellen White payslip and the Screen Gems tax document ($118.13).
